DESCRIPTION

The SMC Blast Shield was designed to protect your thumb from muzzle blast and heat. The SMC Blast Shield redirects muzzle blast forward and upward away from the shooters face. For attaching more variety of accessories, this Blast Shield adds more Picatinny rail length. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum gives this metal good thermal conductivity and dissipates heat quicker than steel.

Not only will this work for Strike Modular Chassis models, this Blast Shield can also fit most pistol frames with a max width of 21.20mm(0.84″). Lightweight and high-strength, the Blast Shield for Strike Modular Chassis ALPHA/BRAVO protects the shooter and adds more room for accessories to customize your specific setup.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you plan on running a compensator with your SMC Alpha or Bravo, we recommend only using compensators with vertical ports and DO NOT recommend compensators that have lateral ports.

-Strike Modular Chassis (SMC) – ALPHA (Standard)
-Strike Modular Chassis (SMC) – BRAVO (Standard)
-Some pistol frames (max width of 21.20mm(0.84″)) with 1913 Picatinny rail

NOT COMPATIBLE:
-Use of SMC Blast Shield with any SMC Alpha or Bravo will not be compatible with any standard P320 holsters.

WARNING: The Standard Blast Shield WILL NOT FIT SMC P320 Spare Magazine Holder and full size weapon lights. The Olight Baldr Mini and weapon lights of similar profile may work with our Spare Mag Holder on the Standard Blast Shield. However, if you with to use a full size weapon light like a SureFire X300 you must use the Hyper Blast Shield instead.
